If the average life of garments were extended by just three months, carbon and water waste would be reduced by up to 5-10 percent a year, according to recycling charity FAMTA. What’s more, it’s estimated that Britons spend around £3.5 billion on new party clothes at Christmas.

We know to check hems for fraying, that zips are working and buttons aren't missing. We also make sure we check and double check each item in natural sunlight - it's the best way to make sure there's no sneaky stains!
